It is a good idea to ask any mover what insurance coverage they provide on the items they move. Normally it’s a pound to value ratio. For example if the movers covered you for $1.00 a pound, if there was an accident, then their insurance would cover you for the first $700.00 on a 700 pound piano You can check with your own insurance agent as well to make sure you have the right kind and amount of coverage.
