A lifelong dedication to the art and craft of piano care, and to the Portland community.

Mark received formal piano technology training at the North Bennet Street School and later earned Certified Craftsman credentials.  His work has included service for private clients, musicians, institutions, and piano businesses throughout the Portland community, including Lewis & Clark College and Moe’s Pianos.

Mark is also the founder of The Piano Santa Foundation, a Portland nonprofit dedicated to supporting young pianists through piano placement, scholarships, recitals, and music education opportunities. The organization has helped connect many students and families with the experience of having a piano in the home and the opportunity to pursue music study.
